Student Advising at the USC Language Academy
The Academy offers three types of advising: academic, immigration and general.
Our Academic Advisors (College Admissions Advisor and Academic Director) answer student question about their Academy classes, USC or applying to any other U.S. institution. Academic Advisors help students meet their academic goals by offering tips for success at the Academy and in future studies. The College Admissons Advisor assists students with all aspects of application and transfer to American colleges and universities, including test (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT) preparation, test appointments, personal statements and essays, and forms. Students can see the Academic Director about attendance problems and class changes.
The Immigration Advisor assists students with questions pertaining to documents (visa, passport, I-20), SEVIS, travel and transfer to another school. The Immigration Advisor will also assist students with INS questions and extending study at the USC Language Academy.
The Student Services Coordinator is available for any questions about housing, getting involved at USC, living in Los Angeles or adjusting to American life. The Student Services Coordinator arranges an exciting schedule of weekly activities and workshops to help students become comfortable at USC, in Los Angeles and in the U.S.
The advising staff is here to help you have a fantastic experience studying at Language Academy!
