Campus Housing

At the USC Language Academy, we focus on academic preparation and campus life. We provide an authentic university experience by offering USC housing for Academy students all year. University housing is safe, secure, and conveniently located on campus. In the fall and spring, students enjoy a unique on-campus living experience in the Parkside International Residential College (PIRC) community. In the summer, students live in a USC-owned apartment complex.

All Academy Housing is non-smoking and offers secure access (only students living in each building can open the front door), ethernet computer access, free local telephone service and utilities. Resident Advisors (trained USC students) live in all USC housing to assist students with move-in and cultural adjustment, to answer student questions and to plan fun get togethers and events for students.

The Academy also provides basic housing supplies for students including sheets, towels and a pillow.

Parkside Apartments

Parkside apartments The Parkside Apartment building offers studio apartments. Studio apartments provide two students with a furnished combined living/sleeping area, bathroom and kitchen area.

Students at Parkside Apartments share activities, community rooms, lounges, and dining facilities at
the Parkside International Residential College. Apartments are fully furnished and include a refrigerator, stove, two telephone lines (telephones are not included), wireless and ethernet access. All contracts for the Parkside Apartments require the Community Apartment Meal Plan.

Summer Housing

Troy East Apartments

Troy East Apartments are located to the north of the USC campus. These fully furnished two-bedroom apartments have a private bathroom, kitchen, living room and dining area with two students in each bedroom. Each room has two telephone and four ethernet lines.

Please Note: The Language Academy does not offer a housing placement service for students after arrival. We will help guide students toward useful housing resources, but students who arrive without housing, will be expected to find their own housing arrangements.
