Professional Master's Degree Program Partners

The USC Language Academy is pleased to offer Intensive English instruction to complement departmental curriculum for several degree and certificate programs at the University of Southern California. These programs include:

Master of Public Policy and Management
USC Sol Price School of Public Policy

The International Public Policy and Management Program (IPPAM) offers a Master of Public Policy and Management (MPPM) degree designed for international and U.S. students working in an international setting. This executive program targets mid-career professionals with experience in government, non-profit agency, or business firms engaged in the design, planning and management of social programs and services. Master of Communication Management
USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism

The Master of Communication Management (CMGT) prepares communication managers and policymakers to take leading roles in the communication revolution. With seven areas of concentration, this degree program is grounded in classic theories of communcation and prepares graduates to thrive in a dynamic environment of shifting news and entertainment formats, organizational transformation, new delivery systems and increasingly fragmented audiences.

Master of Strategic Public Relations
USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism

USC Annenberg’s M.A. in Strategic Public Relations takes a highly focused, real-world approach to the PR field, based on strategic analysis of actual case studies. While students absorb the concepts underlying modern Public Relations and honing strategic planning, writing, media relations and communication skills, they also build an understanding of the day-to-day work of Public Relations professionals.

International Master of Business Administration
USC Marshall School of Business

The International Business Education and Research (IBEAR) focuses on strategy, finance and marketing for high-potential, mid-career professionals who seek to become innovative, globally focused business leaders. Students who may require help with English proficiency enroll in the pre-program Summer B Intensive English Program.

Master of Teaching -- English as a Second or Other Language
USC Rossier School of Education

The Master of Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (MAT ESOL) offers both an online and on-campus master's degree program for students who wish to teach English as a second or foreign language as a career. Candidates who are otherwise qualified but who require additional language development before entering the program in order to succeed will be required to attend the USC Language Academy Intensive English Program under conditional admission.
