TOEFL Track

In addition to our regular Intensive English Program, the Language Academy offers an iBT TOEFL Track. This Track enables students to devote more class time to iBT TOEFL study. Students who choose iBT TOEFL Track must be in Academy levels 4 to 6 (levels are determined by the English Placement Exam given at the start of the program). iBT TOEFL Track students will have customized iBT TOEFL instruction during the Reading and Writing and the Elective classes for a total of 9 hours a week while attending the standard Oral Skills and Grammar classes.

iBT TOEFL instruction covers test-taking strategies for all sections of the iBT. Particularly, the iBT TOEFL Track emphasizes integrated academic tasks such as notetaking, listening and writing, focused listening, and reading and speaking response exercises.
