The Idaho Small Business Development Center (ISBDC)
Technology Connection is the central node to which small businesses, inventors and public
servants turn when looking for solutions to technical problems, expert advice, funding or
partners for R&D, technology available to license, technical literature, data, or

Besides direct consulting, an inventors forum is presented
monthly by volunteer patent attorneys; SBIR workshops are presented around the stat e; and
clients are networked into industry associations, Idaho National Engineering and
Environmental Laboratory (INEEL) scientists and engineers, and NASA research centers.
Close working relationships are maintained with the Idaho Department of Commerce,
universities, economic development agencies, Small Business High Tech Institute, and other
resources.

ISBDC was the first affiliate to create an
"umbrella" Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with a federal
lab. Under this arrangement with Idaho National Engineering and Enviromental Laboratory
