CALTIP Pays Off

The Spring Round of the 1997 California Technology Investment Partnership has officially concluded, with five LARTA compnaies receiving funding from the state of California. A total of 23 companies have been awarded from any one of a variety of federal funding programs.

A total of 99 proposals from throughout the statte were submitted for the solicitation. Seventy-one were recommended for awards; however, due to a shortage of funds, only 28 companies received grants.
