Aerospace & Defense: The Transformation Continues

LARTA, in cooperation with the Los Angeles Economic Developement Corporation, and with pro bono assitance from A.T. Keareny is conducting a study of the aerospace & defense industry in Southern California

The study, titled "Continuing Tranformation: A Study of Aerospace & Defense in Southern California," will examine emerging strategies, trends and issues to determine their potential effect and long-term importance on the industry and the region. Issues include emerging competitive strategies and corporate visions. commercialzing technology. Globalization, the Southern California business environment and the effects of consolidation on suppliers.

In October, study findings will be distributed to all participants in a final report that presents information and analysis on key industry developments and other forces shaping both aerospace & defense and Southern California. The report will also be circulated to policy makers and community leaders, providing participants with an opportunity to communicate their needs and opinions.
