software at Dolby Laboratories in Burbank, CA.
Mr. Luther recently was Senior Member of Engineering at DemoGraFX,
Inc of Marina del Rey, a leading developer of specialized digital
video signal processing and image coding technology. Mr. Luther was
responsible for providing expertise in the area of image
compression, filtering, format conversion, and image quality
analysis. He was an integral part of the team at DemoGraFX, Inc. for
a total of 6 years on two different occasions. During his tenure, he
developed a 3-dimensional sculpting program for Modacad for use in
the Fashion and Merchandising Industry as well as PHIGS (a Graphics
Library), a project for Digital Equipment Corporation.

post-production projects including the movie “The Last Starfighter”
which in the same year received an Academy Award for Technical
Excellence.
Other career highlights include 3 years with Hughes Aircraft of
Culver City where he created software for modeling satellite image
processing algorithms as a Member of Technical Staff. He also
created a dome projection algorithm for the F18 flight simulator.
Mr. Luther was Software Developer for Morganelli-Heumann and
Associates where he developed a 2-Dimensional CAD packages for
office layout and “DATMAN”, a space planning inventory program.
