Introduction to the Far West RTTC

Information is the key in understanding how to succeed in a national and global economy. In the area of technology transfer and commercialization, it is vital to know what technologies are currently available. 

NASA considers technology transfer and commercialization a key element in its overall technology plan.

As part of this mission, NASA created the Regional Technology Transfer Center Network to assist in technology transfer from the public sector to the commercial sector. 

The Far West Region serves eight western states with our headquarters located in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California. 

Affiliate centers in our region work to locally support our efforts in technology transfer and commercialization.
