Introduction to Aerospace Engineering

Aerospace Engineers build devices that go into space.  These devices include aircraft, spacecraft, and missiles.  Many aerospace engineers specialize in a type of aerospace engineering.  Aerospace engineers use computers to help them design.  Aerospace engineers often require knowledge of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, celestial mechanics, propulsion, acoustics, and control systems.  Aerospace engineers usually start off by being supervised by an experienced engineer and eventually gain more independence.
