Instruction and demonstration on how to use two financial download system: FDL and Data Warehouse. FDL is the telnet based system to extract data from various modules in the financial system and download them via FTP to your PC. Data Warehouse extracts the financial data for downloading via a web browser to your PC.
Users must already have access to the Budget Administration System (WEBBA) or SIS, depending upon the data they wish to access. Prior to attending the training session, attendees should apply for access to either FDL or Data Warehouse, or both, using the appropriate forms (Financial Access forms are on this website, and SIS-DW access requests must go through SIS.) Approval from their SBO is required on the form to obtain access, and training is required before access will be released. This class is recommended only for those who handle many accounts and large amounts of data, and who already have experience with and understanding of the Budget Administration system (WEBBA) or SIS for SIS-DW.
