Toward A Sustainable Los Angeles:
A "Nature's Services" Approach

Over the past two years, the Center for Sustainable Cities has been conducting research on the potential for reintroducing "nature's services" (such as carbon sequestration and storm water cleanup by trees) in the dense, older inner core of Los Angeles.
