Directions and Parking
Geography: H-1, KAP, Gate 6
110 (Pasadena) North
Exit Exposition. Go straight through the 37th Street light. Keep left. Pass under the freeway bridge. Stay on Exposition and cross Flower at the light, pass Figueroa and make a right on Vermont Avenue. Turn right at 36th Place and enter Gate #6.
110 (Harbor) South
Exit Exposition. Stay on Exposition and cross Flower at the light and proceed straight past Figueroa to Vermont. Turn right at Vermont, then turn right at 36th Place and enter Gate #6.
10 (Santa Monica) East
Exit Vermont Avenue. Turn left (south) on Vermont at the light. Pass Jefferson Avenue. Turn left at 36th Place and enter Gate #6.
10 (Santa Monica) West
Exit Vermont Avenue. Turn right (south) on Vermont at the light. Pass Jefferson Avenue about one half block. Turn left at 36th Place and enter Gate #6.
405 (San Diego) South or North
Take the 405 to the 10 (Santa Monica Freeway) East toward Los Angeles. Exit Vermont, turn right (south) at the light. Turn left at 36th Place and enter Gate #6.
101 (Hollywood/Ventura) South or North
Take the 101 to the 110 South. Exit Exposition. Cross Flower at the light pass, and take a right (north) at Vermont. Turn left at the light on 36th Place. Enter Gate #6.
5 (Golden State/Santa Ana) South or North
Take the 5 to the 110 South. Exit Exposition. Cross Flower at the light pass, and take a right (north) at Vermont. Turn left at the light on 36th Place. Enter Gate #6.
Parking at USC
On campus: To park near the department, enter off of Vermont on to 36th Place (Gate 6). Parking is $6 for an all day pass. Metered parking is also available on 36th Place inside Gate 6. On campus parking rates and availability may vary for special events. For further information call USC Transportation Services at 213-740-3575.
Off campus: Four-hour and metered parking is available on Vermont between Exposition and Jefferson. Do not park at the shopping center on Vermont, because they will tow your vehicle. Free one-hour parking is available on 36th Place, directly west of Vermont.
Public Transportation to USC
DASH Route C: The DASH line starts at 7th Street Metro Center station and runs every 15-30 minutes from 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The DASH drops off and picks up on Vermont and 36th Place. Cost is 25 cents. For more information about DASH routes, call 1-800-2LA-RIDE.
Metro Bus and Metro Rail: Bus service is provided from Union Station to USC on bus lines 444, 445 and 446.
