Welcome to the SGA - Student Gerontology Association Homepage

The Student Gerontology Association (SGA) of the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology is an organization for graduate, undergraduate, and Ph.D students that pursues educational, philanthropic and social activities throughout the year.  We are a group of students committed to the promotion of gerontological issues on campus and in the community.  We realize that undergraduate, graduate and Ph.D programs are challenging and time consuming, but we encourage students to reach out to the community and develop friendships in the program that will last a lifetime.  Our main events each year include the Alzheimer’s Association Los Angeles Memory Walk, lunch with the Andrus Volunteers, our Annual Student and Alumni Dinner, and a Gerontology Awareness Week.  If you would like to join SGA at our monthly meetings, participate in our community service events, or support our fundraising efforts please contact one of our officers.
