Multidisciplinary Research Training in Gerontology

The major goal is to train predoctoral and postdoctoral students for research careers in the field of aging. Training is provided in fields of biology, neurosciences, psychology, sociology, and gerontology.

“Longitudinal Study of Generations and Mental Health."

The major goal of this research is to examine how intergenerational relationships influence well-being in the context of lifecourse transitions from early to middle to late adulthood.

The major goal is to investigate the mechanisms by which older generations transmit educational and occupational aspirations to younger generations and how this transmission influences the economic, and educational attainment of the younger generations as well as their psychological well-being.
