Anne Katz,

Associate Professor of Clinical Gerontology, Community Services
and Aging.
Anne D. Katz, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Clinical Gerontology.
She is also the Co- Director of Tingstad Older Adult Counseling
Center and the Clinical Director of the Los Angeles Caregiver Resource
Center. Her research interests include: HIV/AIDS and the elderly,
women’s issues and aging, and caregiver stress.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from U.S.C. in 1978; Masters
Degree in Social Work from San Diego State University in 1981 and
was licensed in clinical social work in 1984. She worked at U.C.L.A.
Medical Center until 1988, then returned to school to pursue a Ph.D.
in Social Work, graduating from U.S.C. in 1992.
