Principal Investigator, Longitudinal assessment of cognition in adults. 1994-2005 (grant number R01 AG10569). Goal of project to identify patterns of longitudinal change across a wide range of cognitive abilities, including memory, language, reasoning, vocabulary, speed, and working memory. Second goal is to determine correlates of change in performance, including other cognitive abilities, demographic variables, self reported health and health behaviors, and self reported memory. Continuing continuation submitted.
Preceptor, Multidisciplinary Training in Aging, Eileen Crimmins, PI, NIA, Competing continuation funded as of May 2003 until 2008. Provides training to pre- and postdoctoral students in biological, psychological, social, and health issues in aging by integrating across fields.
