Giving to Gerontology
As one of the world's major centers for aging research, education
and community service, the USC Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center
is uniquely positioned to play a significant role in addressing
the needs of our rapidly aging society.
Thanks in part to dramatic medical advances and increasing awareness
of the importance of healthy lifestyles, people today are living
longer, spending more time in retirement and finding their mature
years to be very different from those of their parents' generation.
While great strides are being made to extend human life expectancy,
much more must be done to ensure that these additional years are
healthy and vital.
A gift to the Andrus Gerontology Center supports the quality of
life as we age. Through research, education and community service
programs, the Center is promoting successful aging and an older
adult population that is healthy, active and engaged in life.
When you make a gift to the Center, you have tremendous flexibility
in determining how the funds will be used, as well as many options
for making your gift. To give a gift electronically, please visit
the university's online site, and direct your gift to Andrus Gerontology
Center listed under Academic Units.
