outstanding service at the 23rd annual Convocation.

Gerald A. Larue, emeritus professor of religion, USC College, adjunct
professor of gerontology, USC Davis School of Gerontology, for his
influence in the fields of religion, archaeology and gerontology,
as well as for his contributions to campus life.
Larue is admired for his intellect and devotion to his students,
for his service to the community at large through his teaching and
lectures and his unique development of curricula on death and dying.
He recently was awarded the Emeriti Center’s Leibovitz Award
for service to seniors.
