Conquering Taboos: Talking to Your Family about Death and Dying
This Trojan Family Weekend, take advantage of the USC Davis School of Gerontology's workshop for end-of-life decision-making By Jonathan Riggs
Death and dying are the ultimate taboo topics: rarely discussed but vitally important to prepare for. “Conquering Taboos: Talking to Your Family about Death and Dying” will bring together parents in a supportive, honest and friendly environment to discuss and develop advance directives that everyone should know.
With wisdom and warmth, the USC Davis School of Gerontology’s Dr. Susan Enguidanos will help you begin the process of conscientious planning in the present to ease the burden on family members-and on yourself-in the future.
Death is a mysterious but inevitable part of all of our lives, but confusion, fear and uncertainty don’t have to be. Take control of your destiny by planning the smooth, dignified exit you and your family deserve.
Your participation in this session will change your life for the better!
