Alexis Coulourides

Alexis began her studies at the USC Davis School of Gerontology in Fall 2008 as a Master of Science, Gerontology (MSG) student and continued on to the Ph.D. track in Fall 2010 under the supervision of her faculty advisor, Dr. Susan Enguidanos. Her work in the area of health systems research focuses on end-of-life care, care transitions, and ethnic disparities in health services utilization.

Alexis is a native of Southern California and has returned home after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She studied Exercise and Sports Sciences with a minor concentration in French and was a four-year NCAA student athlete letterman as a member of the women's tennis team. Before coming to USC, Alexis worked for two years as a research assistant for Partners in Care Foundation.
