Is our Master of Science in Gerontology, a 44-unit program with real-world internship experience built into its curriculum, right for your career path? Or are you a working professional looking for a particular expertise on aging? If so, the 28-unit online Master of Arts in gerontology is the right the program for you. Or maybe you want a graduate certificate in aging? Either way, blended courses mean that you can attend class on campus or remotely, whatever works best for you.
Can I take a gero course without being a major?
Sure! The USC Davis School offers a variety of classes as well as two gerontology minor programs that provide you with the opportunity to supplement your education with a life course perspective of the aging process.
We even have a class that meets your diversity requirement as well as online courses that you can attend anytime.
Even if you are majoring in another subject our new progressive degree program allows you to earn a master’s degree in gerontology in one year. Apply in your junior year between 64-96 units and you can earn a master’s degree in gerontology without taking the GRE in just 32 units.

What if I haven’t taken the GRE?
That’s okay. You can get started on your advanced degree by enrolling in Gerontology 500 or one of our other Masters level courses while you prepare for the exam. You can take up to 12 units as a limited student before you are admitted into the program. |
What if I can't come to LA?
Then we'll bring the classroom to you! Our pioneering Online Masters Program allows students to interact with faculty and peers from anywhere with an internet connection. |
