The USC Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center is committed to implementing social change in order to promote the health of the elder population. To this end, the Center provides services administered by University faculty, staff and students to older individuals and their families. Through its programs, scores of professionals have been trained to work in a wide range of positions in the field, and the Center has become an important resource on aging for many parts of society.

Andrus Volunteers Gerontology Center (AVGC) - Andrus Volunteers Gerontology Center (AVGC) provides opportunities to work in Andrus Gerontology Center functions.
The Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center (LACRC) - The Los Angeles Caregiver Resource Center (LACRC) is a non-profit organization that helps those who care for an adult with a brain impairment acquired after the age of 18. The Center assists caregivers residing in Los Angeles County by directly providing resources, information, support groups, family consultations, short-term counseling, respite for caregivers, legal/financial consultations, and workshops.
The Tingstad Older Adult Counseling Center (TOACC) - The Tingstad Older Adult Counseling Center (TOACC) program is designed to assist with issues or problems that may accompany the aging process and serves as a training site for gerontology, clinical psychology, and social work students at the masters, doctoral and post doctoral levels, and conducts clinical research in the area of mental health and aging.
The Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) - The USC Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) focuses on reducing the cognitive and behavioral impact of Alzheimer's disease and cerebrovascular dementia among ethnically diverse populations.
Fall Prevention Center of Excellence - Falls are now the No. 1 cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries for seniors over age 65. In California alone, over 1 million people 65 or older fall each year; more than 100,000 suffer a serious injury or fatality.Our vision is to create a Center of excellence to ensure the independence, safety, and well being of older persons through fall prevention. Our mission is to provide leadership, create new knowledge, and develop sustainable programs for seniors and their families, professionals, program administrators, and policy makers. A wealth of materials is provided for free outside of the office and on the web.
The Birren Center for Autobiography and Life Review - The Birren Center is dedicated to enriching the lives of adults through writing, sharing, and preserving their life stories and life experiences. The program provides opportunities for education, research and dissemination of information to professionals who are engaged in the fields of life review and aging.
