The Age Discrimination Act of 1975
The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 prohibits discrimination based on age in programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance. The Age Discrimination regulation describes conduct that violates the Act, is enforced by the Office for Civil Rights, and is in the Code of Federal Regulations at 34 CFR Part 110.
