Applicants to the Epstein ISE Department Doctoral Program should complete their applications by December 1 to be considered for fellowship support in the following Fall. Applications submitted after this deadline likely will not be identified to the USC Graduate School as fellowship nominees. Note: While most students who begin the Epstein ISE Doctoral Program will have completed a relevant MS or MA degree, exceptionally strong students may occasionally be admitted directly to the Doctoral Program based on completion of a relevant BS degree. "In today's global economy, the most successful engineering professionals rely on a combination of technical depth and business fundamentals. There is no better academic major in which to acquire these skills than Industrial and Systems Engineering, no more important field in which to apply these skills than Industrial and Systems Engineering, and no greater institution at which to study Industrial and Systems Engineering than the University of Southern California (USC). Focused, intellectually fit, and blending the latest quantitative tools with a systems view of problems and a special facility for reasoning, Epstein Department graduates are the Viterbi School of Engineering's consummate economic competitors."
Prof. James E. Moore, II
Epstein Department Chair
