Dear Colleagues,

Given that Jim Moore is currently serving as President of the Transportation Science and Logistics Society, we will be breaking one of our long-standing traditions of the Urban Transportation Special Interest Group by having someone else (me!) take the lead on organizing sessions for the 2009 INFORMS Annual meeting in San Diego.

The INFORMS Annual meeting will be held in San Diego on October 14-19. Meeting information can be found at http://meetings.informs.org/sandiego09/. Paper titles and abstracts (maximum of 100 CHARACTERS) are due on May 15 and should be submitted by email to me at Laurie.Garrow@ce.gatech.edu. If you are interested in organizing a session, please email me with a theme that reflects your particular interests and provide a session title together with a list of 3-4 potential speakers (include their email addresses).
