September 03, 2009 — In case any of you will be in Toronto/Canada on these dates, or know of folks who might be interested ...
I was interviewed (on music and math) in this TVOntario documentary on the geometer Donald Coxeter's work and life. I also recorded the soundtrack to the film -- piano music composed by the young Coxeter.
Alex was tickled pink to chat with Benoit Mandelbrot and his wife (in French) while I was being interviewed, and at having lunch with Erik Demaine and his father after the piano recording, both at MIT last year.
A preview screening of the TVOntario documentary

Some information from the Fields Institute page: The documentary premieres on TVOntario's The View From Here on Wednesday, October 21, at 10PM (repeating on Sunday, October 25, at 10:30PM), as part of a special week of programming on TVO devoted to science, technology and innovation, in conjunction with the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physic's Quantum to Cosmos Festival, October 15-25.
I expect to receive a copy of the documentary after its premiere on October 21.
