Boontariga Kasemsontitum has accepted a position as Assistant Professor on the Engineering faculty of Chiang Mai University in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Chiang Mai is Thailand's principal northern city, serving as region's hub of economics, education, and tourism. Chiang Mai University was founded in 1964 as Thailand's first regional university and is ranked No. 6 in Thailand.
Dr. Boontariga completed her doctoral dissertation, "Vehicle Routing with Time Windows and Driver Learning," under the guidance of Prof. Randolph Hall, USC Vice-Provost for Research Advancement. She graduated in the Spring of 2006.
Luca Quadrifoglio has accepted a position as Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas . TAMU's graduate engineering program ranked 14th in US News & World Reports 2006 rankings. The Civil Engineering Department ranked 8th among all graduate civil engineering programs at public institutions.
Dr. Quadrifoglio completed his doctoral dissertation, "A Hybrid Fixed and Flexible Tansportation Service: Description, Viability, Formulation, Optimization AND Heuristic", under the guidance of Prof. Maged Dessouky. He graduated in the Summer of 2005, and has served as a post-doctoral fellow with the USC Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events (CREATE).
