...I thought I would update you on what I have been doing since I left Russia in April. I have spent 3 weeks doing a similar project in Mexico, that is looking for manufacturers, and 1 month and 1 week in India and Pakistan doing the same. I am always amazed at the way things are made, watching steel pounded into wrenches, and big machines braiding nylon into rope.
One place I visited recently, not for business, but which was beautiful was the Kindgom of Bhutan. It is set in the Himalayas, and virtually unvisited by the outside bazaar of information and industry. This was a quiet contrast to India, and I have attached for you a picture of me standing between two Bhutanese men in the traditional clothing called a Gho.
I have also visited the Tiger's Nest Monastery which is the place Guru Rimpochey landed on his flying tiger in the 8th century to subdue the daemons of the area and institute Mahayama Buddhism in its Tantric Form (This is still the national religion).
