USC International Summer Session in Moscow
The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures offers students the opportunity to Participate in a six-week program in Moscow, capital of Russia. Students can take up to 6 units: an intensive language course and/or directed research. Classes meet Monday through Friday and excursions are planned to Saint Petersburg, Suzdal (a town-museum of 14th century), Iasnaia Poliana (the Tolstoy estate), museums, theaters and various landmarks in Moscow. Students will see and learn first-hand about the architecture, culture, history and art of Russia. The program ends with a five-day grand tour of St. Petersburg. Participants will have the choice of living in a well-furnished Moscow dormitory or with Russian families.

USC reserves the right to cancel any program in case of an emergency beyond its control or to cancel programs and classes due to low enrollment or unavailability of faculty. Should the program be canceled, deposits will be refunded to students. Students can register for one or two courses.
