Windows Downloading Instructions






1) Point your Web browser at RealNetwork's Download RealPlayer page.



2) Enter your name and e-mail information in the fields provided.

3) Choose your OS (operating system) and CPU (central processing unit) types from the pop-up menu.

4) If you know the speed of your connection to the internet, select it from the pop-up menu.

5) De-select or keep selected the "Notify" option for RealNetworks' updates, depending on your preference.

6) Mouse-click on the button "Download Free RealPlayer."





A new page will load. From that page,

7) select a "mirror site" to download the software from.  A site close to your location will usually yield the fastest download time.





A "Save As" window will appear and ask you to choose a location on your system to save the file "rp32_50." (You will be able to delete this file once RealPlayer is installed.)

8) Choose a drive/folder and click "save."





A "Saving" window appears as the file is downloaded and saved to your machine.

9) Once the download is complete, find the installer file "rp32_50" you just downloaded and double-click to launch it.





The installer software will launch.

10) Follow the instructions given by the installer.





11) To finish the installation, hit the "Finish" button.





The installer installs the software onto your machine. When it is finished, it automatically launches the RealPlayer software and your Web browser. A short introductory  messages plays. You can stop it by pressing the stop or pause buttons on the RealPlayer interface.





12) Unless you want to keep it, you may throw away the file "rp32_50."
