Windows System Requirements

The RealPlayer 5.0 is designed to work in all Windows environments, though RealFlash and Full Screen Video features are only available on Windows 95/NT. The following table explains which hardware is required for specific Windows operating systems. Note that different hardware is required for playing video and audio files.

Full screen video requires Microsoft DirectX tools and recent video drivers. Your machine may already support full screen. RealPlayer 5.0 will tell you if you need DirectX or new video drivers, and take you to the full screen help site.

Note: Windows NT users should use the 32-bit RealPlayer or RealAudio Player.
