Exploring what Smith describes as Œthe failure of analog technology¹ Fun Park 50 is an evocative collage of images taken from super 8 footage shot on a trip to Disneyland in the 1950¹s. The disintegration of the film stock has left the images abstracted and Œartefacted¹, while the accompanying audio includes the sound of the broken projector as it struggles to spit images onto the screen.
After ten years of experience in theatre, performance, and installation practices Smith is currently studying for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of Western Sydney, Australia.
