The biblical character Job was subjected to extreme tests of loyalty and faith by his God, including the loss of his family. In this digital video Apuy uses diverse techniques - including time-lapse, the layering of original and found footage, and the superimposition of multiple clips within the same frame to show how one manšs life ceases to have meaning for him after such a loss, and how, as he fades away, only the memories of the past remain to haunt him.
Apuy is a second year undergraduate at the USC School of Fine Arts, where he is studying in a variety of disciplines. His work is particularly concerned with exploring the potential of digital editing and special effects technologies for visual and conceptual innovation.
