CDR JULITO T. ANTOLIN, JR.

CDR Julito Antolin is from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He attended Virginia Tech University and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. He was commissioned in May 1994 through the NROTC program.
After completing Navy Nuclear Power School and Prototype, CDR Antolin went to his first submarine, the USS Honolulu, homeported in Pearl Harbor, HI. Following shore duty at Commander Submarine Forces, Pacific, and Department Head school in Groton, CT, he was assigned to the USS Alabama (SSBN-731)(G) as the Navigator/Operations Officer and completed five Strategic Deterrent Patrols.
Following his department head tour, CDR Antolin attended the US Naval War College where he graduated with a MA in National Security and Strategic Studies and JPME Phase I. Subsequently, he served on Chief of Naval Operations’ staff, in the N5 International Strategies Directorate, and XO, Naval Nuclear Prototype Training Unit, Ballston Spa, NY. From 2009-2011, he served as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategy and Plans on Commander, Carrier Strike Group Seven; completing two deployments to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf, supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Tomodachi. Most recently, CDR Antolin completed two years as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Strategy and Plans on Commander, US Seventh Fleet staff, as a part of the Forward Deployed Naval Forces in Yokosuka, Japan.
