USC Orange County Center

Classroom A

Maximum Capacity: 30 persons

USC Orange County Center classrooms are equipped with the latest equipment and technologies for an immersive teaching experience. In addition to high quality whiteboards spanning the walls of the classrooms, two top-of-the-line digital projectors bring your presentations to life on twin 6 ft x 8 ft motorized backdrops.

An instructor's computer directly linked to the USC Main Campus resides inside the multimedia podium, as well as digital overhead projectors, VCRs, and DVD players. Wireless internet is available for all USC students, and power outlets are placed throughout the floor between the expansive modular tables and ergonomically-designed Herman Miller Aeron™ chairs.

This classroom is one of two specially fitted with Video TeleConference capabilities; one camera faces the podium for individual meetings, while an auxiliary camera can be set to point at the classroom itself for large conferences. Microphone pickups strategically placed around the room ensure that no matter your position, you will be able to be heard clearly at the Main Campus.

In addition, Classroom A has two removable walls that can be opened up to the adjacent foyer and hallway for events which require open reception areas. Once closed, however, these walls provide the same high caliber sound characteristics of any of our other classrooms for your instructional needs.
