2011-2012 Order of the Torch applications are currently available. Completed applications should be submitted to TCC 330 by 5:00pm on Thursday, September 29

USC’S Order of the Torch Proudly Presents the First Year Experience Award!

• Have you lived the Trojan Experience?
• Do you think you have the attributes of a Trojan?
• Are you a freshman or first year transfer student?

Each year the Order recognizes one or two first year students that really show promise to be amazing contributors to campus life. Applications for these awarrds are available in the spring semester.

Congratulations to the winner of the 2010 First Year Experience Award, Janet Lee!

The Order is expected to complete several tasks once selected.

• Participate in the Homecoming Parade
• Participate in CONQUEST!
• Complete one community service project
• Serve as facilitators for the Emerging Leader Program (retreat takes place in January)
• Attend one athletic event as a group
• Serve as USC ambassadors when requested for special occasions
• Coordinate a senior class project
• Attend scheduled meeting and events

The members not fulfilling their responsibilities will be removed from the Order.
