What is Orientation?
Orientation is designed solely for certified students and their families. It's your chance to acclimate to life at USC and prepare for your first semester. You will meet USC faculty, staff and students, receive academic advisement and register for classes, and discover opportunities to get involved in student life. You will also have a chance to take care of transactional items such as receiving your USC ID card.
Why Attend Orientation?
Although attending orientation is not required, students find it is the best way to ease the transition to campus life. You (and your family) will be better able to prepare for your time here, and you will have a head start on making your USC experience a truly rewarding and successful one.
We encourage parents and family members to attend. Orientation will help you become familiar with the campus and its resources, its policies and procedures, and the adjustments you and your students may go through during the college experience. You will also have the opportunity to meet current USC administrators, faculty and students, have your questions or concerns answered in person, and learn more about the benefits of being part of the Trojan Family.
We look forward to meeting you!
