Polish music literature has many publishers around the world. Often, a single book on a Polish subject will be included in
a catalogue of a well-known book publisher, such as Cambridge University Press or Harvard University Press. Most books
about music in Poland have been published by the State Music Edition (Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne, PWM Edition for short).
Two new, smaller publishing houses have been founded after 1989, Musica Iagellonica and Sutkowski Edition; books
issued by these publishers may be ordered directly from them.
