The Academic Honors Convocation is designed to affirm the values this academic community holds dearest –  the achievement of excellence in teaching, research,  and classroom performance.  The Convocation deserves our support and encouragement, and I ask for your help in assuring that it will be a success.

In the menu to below are the guidelines and nomination forms for the major awards being presented at the  2012 Academic Honors Convocation on Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Please stress the importance of the awards to your colleagues, alert them to the deadline dates and encourage them to help us identify the most deserving recipients. Departmental or school awards committees should make their nominations for each program by the closing date indicated on each nomination form, submitting such nominations to the appropriate coordinator.
