Location & Time: The satellite ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Bing Theatre and will last approximately one and a half hours.  Graduates are to line up along the side of Bing Theatre in-between the theatre and the Annenberg School for Communication in the order assigned during the mandatory rehearsal on May 14th, 3:00 p.m. at the Bing Theatre.

Reception: The reception follows the satellite ceremony at Queen's Court outside Bing Theatre.

Tickets: Tickets are required for the satellite ceremony.  Each graduate may request up to 4 tickets each.  Tickets will be distributed April 6-10 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the DRC hallway.  USC identification is required.  A maximum of 2 extra tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on when graduates registered for commencement.  Any remaining tickets will be handed out at the mandatory rehearsal on Thursday, May 14th at 3:00 p.m. at Bing Theatre.  Seating is open and there is no replacement for lost tickets.

In order to accommodate the high demand for tickets and limited seating inside Bing Theatre, there will be live remote viewing of the School of Theatre ceremony at Bing Theatre back patio.  Please note that there are only 80 seats, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, there will be a live webcast of the School of Theatre Commencement at http://theatre.usc.edu.

For additional ticket questions, please contact (213) 821-4048 or jackie.reed@usc.edu.

There is a mandatory rehearsal for all graduates on May 14th at 3:00 p.m. at the Bing Theatre. The rehearsal will last approximately one hour with an optional pizza party following at the Bing Theatre back patio.  Complimentary Honor Cords will be distributed at the rehearsal to students with a 3.5 GPA in USC coursework determined after the fall semester posting of grades (excludes spring semester grades).

Guests with Disabilities

If your guests are attending only the School of Theatre Commencement, the closest disability drop-off location to the Bing Theatre is located on Jefferson Boulevard on the USC campus side between Hoover Street and Royal Street. Please note that this drop-off location is also a bus stop. Because of the large crowds, navigating across the campus may be physically challenging, so guests with limited mobility are encouraged to bring a wheelchair.

Seating is ticketed and limited at the School of Theatre Commencement. Each person with a disability can only bring one additional non-disabled person into the areas reserved for those with disabilities. Again, all other seating is not assigned.

For those guests who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, the School of Theatre can provide interpreters or a captionist (whichever is requested), as well as front row seating for them and one additional non-disabled guest

To request special services, such as disability seating or audio services, or for more information, please contact (213) 821-4048 or jackie.reed@usc.edu.
