Adam Rosen
Assistant Vice President
Office of Cultural Relations and University Events
As the head of Cultural Relations and University Events, Adam is responsible for the direction, production and management of more than 200 USC events a year on campus, across Southern California and around the world. He is charged with bringing a strategic and distinct USC branding to events, programs and productions that connect USC's academic community to the outside world. Also under his purview are USC Visions & Voices, The Arts and Humanities Initiative and Arts and Culture at USC. In addition, Adam works to expand USC’s visibility within Los Angeles' vibrant cultural community and enrich the university’s relationship with Southern California’s vast array of arts organizations.
Adam is an award-winning event and marketing producer whose creative branding solutions have been seen on television, in major print and online publications and by live audiences. Prior to coming to USC, he produced events while working at Warner Bros., Mattel, Enlighten Creative Marketing Group and Grand Central Marketing. He has broad experience in event planning and production, ranging from small, high-end gatherings to large-scale productions. His affinity for events is rooted in a deep love for the arts, which began in high school theater productions and progressed through his film studies at USC. Away from the office, Adam is an avid softball player and organic gardener.

Jennifer Carver
Managing Director, University Events
As Managing Director of University Events, Jennifer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the events team, providing strategic guidance and creative direction for all events produced through the Office of University Events to ensure all events meet the presidential standard of hospitality. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Jennifer served as Assistant Director of University Events and the Co-Director, 75th Anniversary Marketing and Strategy at Pepperdine University. At Pepperdine, Jennifer supervised a team of event managers and provided production management and support for over 150 events annually, from fashion shows, commencements, and gala dinners, to intimate high-end gatherings. Jennifer is a native of Southern California and earned Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Mass Media Communications from the University of San Diego and her MBA at Pepperdine University.

Jenny Hansen
Director, Campaign Events
As Director of Campaign Events, Jenny Hansen is responsible for the event activities surrounding the public launch of the Campaign for the University of Southern California. She also serves as a liaison for the Office of University Advancement in order to maintain the mission of the campaign and presidential standard at all campaign events.
Jenny's previous role was Managing Director, University Events, where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and provided strategic guidance for all events produced through the Office of University Events. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Jenny worked as an event producer for Disney Consumer Products, a division of The Walt Disney Company. At Disney, Jenny was responsible for the production of internal and external sales meetings, licensee summits, and tradeshows. An alumna of the University of Southern California, Jenny received her bachelor’s degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish and her master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations.

Jeff Olsen
Managing Director,
Academic Events
Jeff produces the university’s Commencement and Homecoming festivities, as well as the annual Academic Honors Convocation. He also works with Visions and Voices to produce their Experience L.A. series, taking students off campus for various arts and culture events. In 2010, he produced the inauguration of President Nikias. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, he holds bachelor’s degrees in music performance and music business, and a master’s degree in communication management. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Jeff worked as the program coordinator for the Pasadena Conservatory of Music.

Katherine Furesh
Event Manager
Katherine is an alumna of the University of California, Los Angeles, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Katherine worked as an Associate Director of Catering for the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and for Catering/Sales Management at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, The St. Regis Los Angeles, The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel & Spa, Shutters on the Beach, and Hotel Casa del Mar.

Event Manager
Boneshia is an alumna of Luther College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Boneshia worked for the Getty Center in Los Angeles as an Event Specialist.

Tiffany Chatelain
Event Manager
Tiffany is an alumna of Chapman University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communications. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Tiffany worked as an Event Manager for Preferred Hotel Group, planning meetings and events both domestically and internationally, and for Grant Associates, a boutique event planning company, specializing in events in the non-profit sector.

Meghan Mainwaring
Event Coordinator, Campaign Events
As event coordinator for Campaign Events, Meghan is responsible for designing and producing events to support and advance the Campaign for the University of Southern California. She also assists in maintaining the mission of the campaign and presidential standard at all campaign events. An alumnus of the University of Southern California, she holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and was a two-sport varsity athlete for four years in cross country and track. Prior to joining the office, Meghan worked as a senior event coordinator at Party Planners West, producing large-scale corporate events. At PPW, she was the director of operations for the NFL Experience, the NFL's interactive theme park surrounding the Super Bowl. Meghan also worked as a public relations coordinator at NFL Network.

Victoria Rizo
Event Manager, Academic Events
As the event manager for academic events, Victoria is responsible for the production of the university's Commencement and Homecoming festivities, as well as the annual Academic Honors Convocation. After working in guest relations at the Los Angeles Music Center, she returned to the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events in 2009. She is an alumna of the University of Southern California where she received her undergraduate degrees in Communication and Sociology.

Ailia Coley
Administrative Services Manager
Ailia manages departmental administrative and operational functions for Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, providing student staff management and training as well as support for over 200 events by coordinating all office functions and procedures.
Her career path led her to serve in varied departmental programs at UCLA before joining USC, and was previously the Director of Operations managing special events and projects for a small for profit organization. She has over a decade of experience working in higher education, with five years experience working in Student Affairs and 13 years as a student advocate and leader serving in various capacities. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University and a Master's from Antioch University.

Rochelle Sakado
Senior Business Manager
Rochelle joined the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events in 2004. She is responsible for managing all financial aspects of the department as well as managing our ecommerce service. She is an alumna of the University of Southern California where she received her bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, she was in retail management at Macy's West.

Jan Thompson
Executive Assistant to the Associate Senior Vice President
Jan provides administrative support to the Associate Senior Vice President and on special projects. Prior to joining the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events, Jan worked as a manager for a designer clothing company. Jan is a graduate of USC with a bachelor of science degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been an active alumna and volunteer for USC. She comes from a multigenerational Trojan Family, including her husband, parents, siblings and three children.

Steve Lin
Webmaster
Steve joined the Office of Cultural Relations and University events in July, 2010. Prior to coming to USC, he was a web developer for Biola University and worked in the financial industry as an information systems manager. As the webmaster, Steve is involved in the design and data management of the web and information systems for the Office of Cultural Relations and University Events and Visions and Voices. Nancy Willis
Reservation Services Coordinator
Nancy is a graduate of USC earning a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing. Prior to joining the office of Cultural Relations and University Events, she was employed managing rental income properties in the San Gabriel Valley. Juvi Segura
Director, Audio Visual Services
Juvi is a graduate of the LACC Theatre Academy and a former Marine. His professional production experience Spans over 15 years of working in Theatre, Television, Film, Radio, and Musical Concerts. Some of Juvi’s work includes Projects with NBC, CBS, FOX, Univision, KCET, Americas Theatre Arts Foundation, Quetzal, Kiis fm, KPFK, KJazz, and KZLA. He first joined USC in 1999 with the School of Cinematic Arts in the IMS department.
