Did you know?

The University of Southern California's 155 acre University Park campus holds tens of thousands of students, faculty and staff (more than most towns in the United States).

  Departmental Guide

Like a small city, the University of Southern California boasts an impressive collection of professional departments available to assist you. Early and continual communication will help to ensure a smooth event.

Department of Public Safety (DPS)  Return to top
Any significant event on University property that raises security issues or concerns must be cleared through the Department of Public Safety. Public Safety officers and community service officers are available on an hourly basis for special events, crowd control and VIP security. Departments or organizations planning special activities should contact Public Safety as early as possible so that the duration and number of officers needed can be determined. Payment of estimated charges, by cashier's check, money order, or departmental requisition, is required in advance.
