A Whit of Wit

“I discovered that the extracurricular activities were far more fun than sitting in class. I became a columnist for the Daily Trojan, although I didn’t major in journalism. Down the hall from the Daily Trojan was the Wampus, the humor magazine. It came out once a month… or every two months… or every three weeks, depending on how we felt.… We stole all our jokes from other humor magazines – but the copy was original. We made fun of the administration, but it didn’t seem to bother anyone….”
