| 1. We are looking for 16 words containing the consecutive letters u-s-c in the positions indicated. Each blank represents a single letter. For example, if the clue were St. Louis beer brewer and the corresponding word: _usc_, the solution would be Busch. 2. Mail your answers by no later than March 15 to: The Last Word Submissions by fax (213-821-1100) and email magazines@usc.edu are also welcome. 3. We will award up to five $30 gift certificates from Borders Books and Music to the philologists who find each USC-embedded mot juste. If more than five correct entries are received, winners will be drawn by lot.
