A unique and hugely respected figure in the world of contemporary architecture, Zaha Hadid is one of the youngest winners of the prestigious Pritzker Prize, and the only woman ever to receive the honor (the highest in architecture). Her innovative creations grace cities around the globe.
- Strange Fruit, April 2010
Musicians, artists, activists and scholars will come together for this powerful event connecting the legacy of lynching in the South to the history of racial violence in Los Angeles. The event will include a performance by Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and an exhibit by Ken Gonzales-Day.
