Work/Life support and resources are offered to USC employees, schools and departments on current issues and emerging trends in the work/life field. The CWFL works in tandem with other campus and community partners to provide information, professional consultation and advisement services across the life cycle.
Leave Policies at USC
Leticia Molina, University Leave Coordinator, can assist faculty and staff with questions about the following:

New Pilot Program! Social Security / Medicare Help at UPC
USC employees and / or their family members can meet with a Social Security Administration representative on the first Thursday of each month for assistance with the
following:
- Federal Disability Benefits
- Social Security Retirement Claims
- Medicare Claims
- Social Security Cards
- Federal Benefits Verifications

Access to program descriptions and application requirements of the different housing assistance programs administered by the USC Real Estate& Asset Management department may be found here. Programs include the Faculty and Staff Housing Program, the Neighborhood Homeownership Program, and Relocation Services.
As a service to the university faculty and staff, a database of properties is also listed on the Faculty & Staff Housing main page. This database is listed only as a service to match landlords
with tenants, and sellers with buyers, all program applicants must still follow the required procedures to obtain housing assistance.

Upon receipt of a physicians note documenting the need for close proximity parking USC will arrange the closest “available” lot to the individuals work
location. Availability of a lot is determined by a number of factors, but every effort will be made to ensure the lot assigned on a temporary basis is the closest possible lot.

Transportation has a variety of programs available to assist staff and faculty in their commute to work. A coordinator is available for discussing these options as well as identifying current van pools / Rideshare programs that fit your needs.
Trojan Transportation offers a service on and around campus for after hour’s transportation. The Campus Cruiser program is available to students, staff, and faculty and begins operation after 5:00 pm.
Trojan Transportation offers a free Tram service at both the UPC and HSC campuses. This service runs on and around campus to include union station and the executive health center located in downtown LA.
USC students, faculty, and staff have access to the Transportation fuel station. This fuel station offers regular (87), premium (89), and Diesel fuels. It is also USC Card friendly.
DART is a service provided by the Transportation office to transport those with mobility impairments around the USC campus. To qualify, one must be able to get in and out of a regular golf cart. This service is open to the USC community and reservations must be made one day in advance by calling (213) 740-0776. The hours of the cart are Monday - Friday, from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., during the academic school year.
