Working Mothers Support Group

The USC Working Mother’s Group is a small informal group first organized by one of USC’s working mothers, Suzanne Alcantara, when she returned from maternity leave. It’s designed to provide support for USC mothers with young children who are trying to balance work and family. Members are both faculty and staff, that meet for brown bag lunch monthly to discuss work/family life issues and provide support to one another. For the purpose of shared experiences this group was initially targeting women with children 5 years old and younger but it is open to anyone who might be interested.
