The Royal Northern College of Music is a leading British conservatory with the likes of Dame Janet Baker, Dame Joan Sutherland, Sir Jehudi Menuhin, Sir Harrinson Birtwistle and Sir Peter Maxwell-Davies among its fellows. During their visit, musicians from the college offer two prgrams in one-act theater pieces for six voices "Down by the Greenwood Side" followed by William Walton's one-act opera extravaganza The Bear.
Their second program features "King Herald's Saga," for solo voice, by Judith Weir; "Banquo's Buried" for solo voice and piano, by Allison Bauld; and the Waiter's Revenge" a one-act fable for six voices by Stephen OIiver.
