MTV News Anchor and Political Commentator Tabitha Soren is, despite her young age, a seasoned veteran of America's politcal and media landscape. While still in college Tabitha worked at ABC's "World News Tonight with Peter Jennings," WNBC and the Cable News Network. At MTV Tabith hosts the station's hourly news reports, co-hosts "The Week in Rock" with Kurt Loder which covers everything from music and pop culture to social issues and politics. Tabitha also guest hosts the MTV News reports carried daily by the Westwood One Radio Network.
Tabitha is perhaps best known for her work on the Peabody Award winning MTV Program "Election '92: Choose or Lose," for which she interviewed President Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and former President George Bush. Most recently, Tabitha moderated a televised forum with President Clinton on the topic of youth violence.
In addition to Tabitha's MTV responsibilities, she currently contributes to NBC's "Nightly News," and "Dateline," is a contributing correspondent for NBC'S "Today Show," as well as a contributing writer for "ELLE" magazine. She also writes a bi-monthly column for The New York Times Syndicate titled "Something to Think About."
